ICANN 2026 is intended to be a non-profit event. We hence strive to keep the conference fee as low as possible, for students in particular.
Please note that ICANN 2026 will be organized as an in-person event. We thank all presenters for traveling to Padua, Italy and joining the conference, in order to foster the professional exchange between the participants.
Conference fee
Payments shall be made in Euros (EUR) via credit card or bank transfer.
Amounts in Euros. All the fees include VAT.

The registration form will be available by the end of February 2026.
Note
- For each accepted paper, at least one full registration is required. Multiple papers cannot be assigned to the same registration. Failure to register will cause the withdrawal of the paper.
- Registration includes the full week program, including Tutorials and Workshops days, welcome receptions, coffe breaks and lunches . It does not include the social dinner.
- Early registration closes on the 29th of June 2026 AoE. The late registration deadline will be announced.
- Any payment requesting post-hoc handling after registration will be charged an administrative fee of 30 EUR.

The registration fee includes:
- Access to scientific sessions and plenary talks
- Coffee breaks and lunches during the main conference
- Electronic access to the Conference Proceedings
- Membership of the European Neural Network Society for the year 2026
Terms and Conditions
- By submitting a paper, the authors certify that their work is original and
complies with the ethical guidelines for human and animal research, if
any such research is involved. - Valid author registration is complete only after both the registration
form is submitted and the payment has been received. - To be eligible for ENNS registration rates you must be a current member
of the ENNS (membership paid for 2026). If you select the ENNS rates
without being a member with a paid membership for 2026, your ICANN
registration is not valid.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are accepted by E-mail only to the registration secretariat. The registration fee will be refunded minus 30% for cancellations received no later than June 29th, 2026. Thereafter no refunds will be made. All refunds will be processed within 21 days of written request if applicable. Please note that if you are the sole registered author for a paper and cancel your registration, your abstract/article will not be published.
Paper withdrawal can be requested by E-mail. Only corresponding authors are allowed to withdraw a paper. State your name and registration ID in the E-mail message. Withdrawal of an paper without cancelling registration does not entail refund of the registration fee. Deadline for withdrawal is June 29th 2026.
Submitted papers are not published if the first author or the co-author with the registration cancelled his/her registration, or if the payment of the registration fee is not received by the deadline specified here.
Transfer of registration
If the registered person cannot participate to the conference due to objective reasons, the registration can be transferred to another author of the article, who is eligible for the same or lower registration fee (i.e., full to student registration but not vice versa). In this case, please, submit your request to icann2026@e-nns.org and explain the reasons.
