UAB “Kalanis” (brand name “Seven Tips”) takes care of the protection of your information. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR) and other laws protecting your information that we collect, use and store.

  1. How should I read this Privacy Policy?

This Privacy Policy will answer the key questions how we collect, use and store information about you. In case you have any questions or any part of this Notice is unclear, we are ready to help you, described in Section 13 of this Privacy Policy.   • Why do you collect information about me?

You would like to register and participate at the 34th International Conference on Artificial Neural Networks (ICANN 2025)  in Vilnius, Lithuania (further – conference or event). By registering to this event, you are entering into agreement with us which allows you to participate in the above mentioned conference and we will do our part: organize it as well as provide you with the relevant information about it.

  • Do you collect information about me from other sources?

We do not collect information about you from other sources.

At this event, a photographer and/or videographer will be present to promote and publicize the conference activities. By registering for this conference, you consent to being photographed and/or videographed. If you wish to have your image edited in photographs or videos, please notify the event organizer or reach out to us with your request afterward.

  • What information should I provide to you and why?
  • In order to register to the conference and enter in to agreement with us, you are asked to provide your full name, organization, country, phone number and email address. We need the contact information to be in contact with you. We collect the country information to see how wide reach our event has (Article6 (1)(b) GDPR);
  • To adhere to legal obligations in taxation, accounting, and other areas  (Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR);
  • For legitimate interest of advertising and promoting our activities, gathering your feedback on the quality of our events (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
  • What is the legal basis for collecting information about me?

We refer to your consent as a legal basis for entering into agreement with you, which allows you to participate in the conference as well as to send you information about it.  (Article 6(1)(d) of the GDPR).

  • Do you collect any sensitive information about me?

We do not collect any sensitive information about you.

  • Do you perform automatic decision-making or profiling based on the information about me?

Decisions are not made by automatic means. You are not profiled.

  • Do you share my information with other entities?

Information about you might be provided to our third parties:

  • Fienta Ticketing OÜ (Estonia) is a company responsible for handling participants’ payments
  • UAB Aola (Lithuania) is a printing house responsible for producing participants’ badges.
  • Vilnius University is the organizer of the event and might use data for statistical reasons.
  • Lithuanian University of Health Sciences is the organizer of the event and might use data for statistical reasons.
  • Artificial Intelligence Association of Lithuania is the organizer of the event and might use data for statistical reasons.
  • European Neural Network Society is the organizer of the event and might use data for statistical reasons.
  1. Do you share my information with entities outside the EEA (the European Economic Area consists of all EU Member States and Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein)?

We do not.

  1. How long will you store information about me?

We will store information about you for 3 years starting counting from the last day of the conference.

In order to take any of the actions referred to below, please contact us as specified in Section 13. Please note that these rights may be subject to statutory exceptions and limitations.

  • right to request rectification of or supplementing the information held about you;

  • right to request to export your data where you have provided data to us in a structured, commonly used format and given consent for the processing of such data or were we have to process such data for the performance of a contract/agreement with you;
