Description<\/strong>: Reservoir Computing (RC) is a leading edge paradigm for the design of efficiently trainable Recurrent Neural Network models. The first International Workshop on Reservoir Computing will bring together researchers to discuss the state-of-the-art and open challenges for the field of RC, in all its declinations. These include, but are not limited to, new models of Echo State Networks and Liquid State Machines, non-conventional hardware implementations, new emerging paradigms (e.g., conceptors), extensions of RC to complex streams of data, hybrids of deep and shallow models, modeling of neuronal dynamics, and many more. The workshop provides an open forum for researchers to meet and present recent contributions and ideas in a highly interdisciplinary environment.
