Postdoctoral position in Computational Neuroscience/Neuroinformatics, project: “In the quest of sources of brain cognitive activity”.
The goal of the project is to develop, implement and investigate, new techniques of multimodal brain imaging data analysis, including fMRI, EEG/MEG data from humans, and develop new neurofeedback applications. The method will be tested on data from experiments performed within our consortium involving our Neurocognitive Lab (PI prof. W. Duch), Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics (prof. A. Cichocki, coordinator of the whole consortium), Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology(PI E. Kublik) and The Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing (PI prof H. Skarżyński, dr T. Wolak).
The ideal candidate should have a strong computational background, experience in computational neuroscience or brain imaging, analysis of EEG or fMRI data. If you have a solid background in computational neuroscience, physics, maths, computer science, engineering, and want to revolutionize brain research and apply it to heal brains you should consider joining our group. Funding is available for 2-3 years. The gross yearly salary depends on employment time and experience. Cost of living in Toruń are relatively low (comparison is here).
